Judith Kay Wood, 76, Pittsboro

Judith Kay Wood, 76, of Pittsboro, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on January 3, 2021, at Legacy Living in Jasper.

She was born on February 7, 1944, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Hebert Arthur Bowman and Vaughnda (Hatfield) Bowman.

Judith married George Michael Wood on October 1, 1961, and he preceded her in death in March of 2015.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Michael B. Wood; one sister, Betty Sorrels; and one nephew, Mark Alan Bowman; and one brother-in-law, David Wyatt.

Judith had been self-employed operating a produce and flower business. She loved flowers and gardening and spending time with family and friends.

Judith is survived by one son, Greg Wood (Lisa) of Rockville, Indiana; one daughter, Ginger Henderson (Mark) of Jasper; brother, Hebert William “Bill” Bowman (Kathy) of Greenwood; two sisters, Dulcie Wyatt Danville, Ind. and Bonnie Wagoner (Randy) of Colorado Springs, Colo.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Cremation was chosen and inurnment will be held at a later date at Floral Park, Indianapolis, Indiana.
