Judith C. “Judy” Hauser, 65, Schnellville

Judith C. “Judy” Hauser, 65, of Schnellville, passed away at 2:43 a.m. on Monday, August 3, 2020, in Scenic Hills at the Monastery in Ferdinand. 

Judy was born in Schnellville on August 19, 1954, to Jack and Cornelia (Troxler) Hauser. 

She worked at SIRS in Ferdinand and at Gibson County Area Rehabilitation Center in Princeton. She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish – Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She loved listening to music, especially Kenny Rogers and Elvis Presley, dancing, playing cards, and visiting with family.  

She is survived by one sister, Mary Sue (Gary) Johnson of Santa Claus; five brothers, Dan (Rosie) Hauser of Schnellville, Fred (Eileen) Hauser of Ferdinand, Bill (Ruth) Hauser of St. Anthony, Ken (Connie) Hauser of Bluffton, Ind., and Steve (Eileen) of Schnellville; one sister-in-law, Gerry Hauser of Santa Claus; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. 

Preceding her in death are three brothers, Stuart, James “Jack”, and Ricky Hauser. 

A Mass of Christian Burial for Judith C. “Judy” Hauser will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 7, 2020, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, in Schnellville, Indiana, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Masks and social distancing will be required. 

A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time at the church on Friday. 

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or to the wishes of the family.
