Judith Ann (Popp) Cuevas, 64

Judith Ann (Popp) Cuevas, age 64, of Otwell, Indiana, passed away at 2:30 a.m. Saturday, October 5, 2013, in the Amber Manor Care Nursing Center in Petersburg, Indiana.

She was born in Huntingburg, Indiana June 17, 1949 to Ernest and Elnora (Leistner) Popp.

Judi was a graduate of Otwell High School and Vincennes University.

She worked for many years as a patient advocate in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.

Judi loved watching TV sports and was a faithful Cardinal fan.

She is survived by her mother, Elnora Tevault, Otwell, IN; brother, David Popp and wife Shawna , Otwell, IN; niece, Paige and Kyle Lewis, Newburgh, IN; nephew, Jackson Deffendol, Petersburg, IN; and aunt, Wilma Jones, Otwell, IN.

Preceding her in death is her father, Ernest Popp, stepfather, James Tevault and grandparents, Henry and Emma Popp and Edgar and Elfreda Leistner.

Funeral services for Judi Cuevas will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2013) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper with burial to follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery in Haysville. The Rev. Wesley Garris will officiate.

Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until service time at the funeral home.
