Judith Ann Meyer, 77

Judith Ann Meyer, age 77, of Jasper, formerly of Huntingburg, passed away at 12:45 a.m., Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper.

She was born July 14, 1936 in Jasper, Indiana to William and Mercedes (Jerger) Werner.

Judy was raised and grew up in the Maltersville community.

She was a homemaker and member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg and the V.F.W. Post #2366 Auxiliary. Judy was preceded in death by: her mother and father; her husband, Elmer Meyer, who passed away in November of 1989; and three sons, Charles who died in 1975, Louis in 1980, and Larry in 1989.

She is survived by five sons, Stan Meyer of Jasper, Danny Meyer of Evansville, Eugene Meyer of Evansville, Scott Meyer of Schnellville, and Kevin Armbruster of West Harrison, Ind.; four daughters, Mary Cassidy of Jasper, Julia Meyer of Jasper, Vivian Mundy of Huntingburg, and Clara Gentry of Huntingburg; by nine grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Judith Ann Meyer will be held at 10 a.m., EST, on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 4-8 p.m., EST, on Monday. A parish rosary prayer service will be held at 4:30 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home.
