Judith A. Birchler, 56, of Mariah Hill, passed away, September 10, 2014 at Woodlands Nursing Center in Newburgh.
Judith was born November 2, 1957 in Huntingburg to Severln F. and Estella Agnes (Gogel) Birchler.
Judith enjoyed making blankets and bibs for babies and was a member of Spencer County Right to Life. Judith was a Special Olympics participant.
Judith is survived by five sisters; Vita M. Kippenbrock of Ferdinand, Carole Leibering of Lamar, Della Fehribach of Houston, Texas., Patricia Birchler and Charlene Mary and husband Thomas Wayne Boutwell both of Evansville; four brothers, Ronald Joseph Birchler and wife Kristina of Moorsesville, IN., Larry Eugene Birchler and wife Mary of Gadsden, AL., Richard Lee Birchler and wife Barbara of Grandview and William Albert Birchler and wife Wini of Evansville; thirty-six nieces and nephews; ninety-three great nieces and nephews; sixteen great-great nieces and nephews also survive.
Judith was preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Louise Birchler and Donna Louise Birchler.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. CST Monday, September 15, at Mary Help of Christians Church in Mariah Hill.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 14th from 2-8 p.m. CST at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand and Monday from 9:00 a.m. CST until service time at Mary Help of Christians Church in Mariah Hill. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Spencer County Right to Life.
