Juanita Mavajean Reller, 89
Juanita Mavajean Reller, age 89, of Stendal, Indiana, passed away at 3:15 a.m., Saturday, December 15, 2012 at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper.
She was born May 29, 1923 in Mexia, Texas to Bartlett and Mary (Ellison) Osborn. She grew up in Douglas County, Missouri and graduated from the Springfield Business College.
Juanita met her husband-to-be, Paul F. Reller, during World War II while he was stationed at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri. They were married on March 2, 1946 in Stendal, Indiana.
Juanita was a homemaker; a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Stendal and the V.F.W. Post #2366 Ladies Auxiliary; and enjoyed quilting.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Paul F. Reller, who passed away in 1974; three sisters – Rose Harris, Mabel Bennett and Joyce Harr; and three brothers – Gene Osborn, Bartlett Osborn Jr. and an infant brother Adna Osborn.
She is survived by:

- Leland Dale Reller – Stendal, IN
- Larry Gene Reller – Stendal, IN
- Kirk Elliott Reller – Huntingburg, IN
by 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Juanita Reller will be held at 11:00 a.m., (E.S.T.), on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Stendal with burial to follow at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery (Stendal). Pastor Ed Wicks will officiate the services.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-8:00 p.m., on Monday; and also at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Tuesday morning, prior to the funeral. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St. Peter’s Lutheran Church or The Stendal School Reunion Fund.
