Juana Ortega, 94, Jasper

Juana Ortega, 94, Jasper, passed away at 6:20 p.m. on Monday, October 17, 2016, at The Timbers of Jasper.

Juana was born in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico on February 8, 1922 to Jesus and Florentina Gaytan. She married Jesus Adriano 1959. He preceded her in death in 1975.

Juana was a homemaker. She enjoyed traveling.

She is survived by one daughter, Martha Adriano and her husband Carlos Trujillo of Jasper; one son, Jesus Adriano of Evansville; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death besides her husband are five sisters.

A visitation for Juana Ortega will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.

Burial will be at a later date in Enlow Cemetery in Jasper, Indiana.
