Joyce F. Scherle, 55

Joyce F. Scherle, age 55, of Jasper, Indiana passed away at 1:31 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, Indiana.

Joyce was born in Jasper, Indiana on August 10, 1958 to Robert and LaVerne (Kapp) Durcholz. She married Stan Scherle on June 5, 1976 at Precious Blood Catholic Church in Jasper.

Joyce was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Patoka Valley Quilt Guild, and the Dubois County Leukemia Association.

She enjoyed quilting, sewing, canning, reading, and taking care of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Stan Scherle of Jasper; two daughters, Kara Glendening, and her husband Adam, of Celestine, and Kim Dutkosky, and her husband Dan, of Sugarland, Tex.; two grandchildren, Josslyn Glendening and Marek Dutkosky; her father, Robert Durcholz of Jasper; one brother, Gary Durcholz, and wife Mary Ann, of St. Anthony; several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death is her mother, LaVerne Durcholz.

Funeral services for Joyce F. Scherle will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2013, at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper, Indiana.

Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 29, 2013, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
