Joyce Ann Cheatham, 66, Taswell

Joyce Ann Cheatham, 66, of Taswell, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026, in Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, surrounded by her family.

She was born on May 6, 1959, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Samuel Jr. and Judy Ann (Wright) Conrad.

Joyce was a member of Taswell Christian Church. She married Kenneth Cheatham on July 1, 1977. Joyce worked at Inwood Office Furniture of Jasper, Indiana, for 18 years until her retirement. She loved caring for and playing with her puppy, Lucy, and spending time with her family. Joyce will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Kenneth Conrad.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Kenneth Cheatham; her daughter, Kimberly Cheatham; her sister-in-law, Corene Conrad; her nephew, Ray (Whitney) Conrad; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Samantha Conrad and Brantley Thompson; her faithful companion, Lucy.

A Memorial Service will be on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 4:00 P.M at Denbo Funeral Home in English, Indiana, with Bro. Albert Madden to officiate.

Friends may visit on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00 p.m. Cremation will follow according to her wishes. Her final resting place will be in Taswell Cemetery.
