Joy Ann Kendall, 94, of Dale, passed away peacefully at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville with her children by her side.

She was born June 9, 1932, in Dale, to Clarence and Helen (Griffith) Medcalf.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 78 years, Merle Kendall; two siblings, Betty Bays and Peggy Wallin; and one son-in-law, Leroy Fischer.

She is survived by three children, Debbie Fischer of St. Meinrad, Cindy (Bob) Lindauer of Dale and Steve (Amy) Kendall of Dale; seven grandchildren, Troy, Lance, Angela, Wesley, Dakota, Rae Ann and Haley; and by 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
