Joshua James Stout, 35, Ferdinand

Joshua James Stout, 35, of Ferdinand, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at home.

He was born December 26, 1981, in Augusta, Georgia to James and Janessa (Houchin) Stout and was married to Sally Burress on November 17, 2010.

Josh worked as a finish sprayer and enjoyed fishing, refurbishing wood projects and spending time with his children.

He was preceded in death by his father; his daughter, Savannah Rose Stout; and grandmother, Ruth Pauly.

Josh is survived by his wife, Sally J. Stout of Ferdinand; son, Jayden Stout; daughters, Jasmine and Willow Stout; stepdaughter, Kailey Hagedorn; mother and stepfather, Janessa and Randy Bryant of Cannelton; and grandparents, Margie and Jerry Houchin of Huntingburg.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. EST Saturday, January 28, 2017, at Redemption Christian Church in Jasper with Brother Jason Denton officiating. Friends may visit at the church from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, the day of the service. Nass & Son Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made out to the Huntingburg Church of the Nazarene to be used for the benefit of his children.
