Joseph Damien Allen, Sr., 49, Huntingburg

Joseph Damien Allen, Sr., 49, of Huntingburg, passed away Monday, March 13, 2017, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville from injuries sustained in a vehicular accident.

He was born January 6, 1968, in Newport, Kentucky.

Joseph was employed as a cook at Shoney’s Restaurant in Jasper.

He is survived by his father, William “Bill” Allen of Owensboro, Ky.; his son and daughter-in-law, Joseph Damien (Sarah) Allen, Jr. of Huntingburg; and by aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services for Joseph Allen, Sr. will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2017, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. The funeral Mass will be celebrated by Reverend Ryan Hilderbrand.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday.
