John “Pup” Schuetter, 49

John “Pup” Schuetter, 49, of Huntingburg, died Saturday, August 30th at Brookside Village in Jasper.

John was born June 27, 1965 at Memorial Hospital in Jasper to Jacob “Jack” and Barbara (Ruhe) Schuetter. He married Angela (Schulz) Schuetter on April 17, 1993 in Saint Ferdinand Catholic Church. John was a driver for Central Concrete. He enjoyed camping, hunting and being with family and friends. He was a fan of the Indiana Hoosiers, Cincinnati Reds and the Miami Dolphins. John was a member of the St. Anthony Conservation Club and Saint Ferdinand Parish.

John is survived by his wife, Angela; two sons, Jacob and Nathan; two daughters, Claudia and Calli all at home; his mother, Barbara Henning and husband Tracy of Ferdinand; three sisters, Chris Becher and husband Shawn of Ferdinand, Janet Roller and husband Jeff of Carmel, IN and Connie Spinner and husband Dave of Ferdinand; one brother, Bill Schuetter and wife Max of Ferdinand.

John was preceded in death by his father, Jack; one brother, George; grandparents, Mary and Edward Ruhe, George and Mary Schuetter.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 3 from 2-8 p.m. and Thursday from 7:00-9:30 a.m. at Becher Funeral Home on Ferdinand. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10:00am in Saint Ferdinand Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
