John Paul Clark Sr., 79, Jasper
John Paul Clark Sr., 79, of Jasper, passed away at 7:18 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at the Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper.

He attended the Truelove-Davis Schools and was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp.
He worked at Jasper Desk and was employed by Jasper Wood Products until retirement.
After retirement, he enjoyed driving for the Amish and going for rides in the country. He loved people watching, enjoyed watching old game shows and westerns on television and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his daughters, Cathy Sue Schott of Jasper, Pamela Abrams and husband Greg of Oaktown, and W. Marie Clark of Lynchburg, Ohio; sons, Steve Bledsoe and wife Tonya of Washington, John P. Clark Jr. and wife Barbera of Jasper and Gary Wayne Clark and wife Teresa of Loogootee; brothers, Frank Clark of Jasper, Jack Clark of Columbia, South Carolina, Fred Clark of Jasper, Tom Clark of Columbia, South Carolina; 16 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Janet Kay Clark; three sisters, Betty Sutton, Mary Walton and Margie Clark; brothers, Bill Clark, Robert Clark and Jim Clark; and grandson Christopher Scott Wiscaver.
No services are planned at this time. Burial will be held at a later date in the Goodwill Cemetery in Loogootee.
The Queen-Lee Chapel of the Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes in Shoals is in charge of the arrangements.
