John Edward Lisby, age 67, of Birdseye, Indiana, passed away at 1:45 p.m., Friday, December 23, 2011 at his residence.
He was born July 8, 1944 in Franklin, Indiana to Conrad and Margaret (Smith) Lisby. John was a retired roofer. He was preceded in death by: his father; and one brother, Forrest Lisby.
He is survived by:

by (14) grandchildren and (1) great grandchild.
Funeral services for John Lisby will be held at 2:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Birdseye Cemetery in Birdseye. The Rev. Albert Madden will officiate the services.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, the day of the funeral.
