John A. Doppenberg, age 67, passed away at 7:40 p.m. Friday (July 20, 2012) at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

He was born on July 28, 1944 at Chandler, Minnesota to Carl and Hattie (Weeda) Doppenberg. He married Connie Roth on July 14, 1965.

John retired as a vineyard manager at Ripon California.

Wife, Connie

Three sons,

  • Todd Doppenberg, Taylor Mill, Kentucky
  • Jeffrey Doppenberg and spouse Kari, Patterson, CA
  • Michael Doppenberg and spouse Deborah, Jasper, IN

Five grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

One brother, Gerrit Doppenberg, Ripon, CA

Memorial services for John Doppenberg will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday (July 25, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper with burial to follow at a later date. Rev. Steve Beck will officiate.

Friends may call Wednesday from 1 p.m. until the service time at the Becher – Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
