Joan M. Allen, 70
Joan M. Allen, Age 70 passed away on Friday (January 13, 2012) at her home in Jasper.
She was born February 27, 1941 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to August and Josephine (Wehrle) Becker. She married Bob Allen August 6, 1966, he preceded her in death on July 24, 1987.
Joan had worked as a Teacher’s Aid at 10th Street Elementary School in Jasper and later worked for St. Joseph Church where she taught religious education and also had worked for the Jasper Public Library . She formerly had worked for JOFCO, Kimball International and BR Associates in Jasper.
She is a member of the Red Hats Association.

Preceding her in death besides her husband are two brothers, William and Thomas Becker and one sister, Mary Becker.
Memorial services for Joan Allen will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday (January 18, 2012) at the Becher – Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. The Rev. Ray Brenner will officiate.
Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until the 11:00 a.m. service time at the funeral home.
