Jim called Pike County home his entire life. After he graduated from Petersburg High School in 1960, Jim enlisted in the United States Navy. His highest rank was IC 2nd class. Jim’s career as an electrician started while serving in the Navy. He was a member of IBEW Local 16 of Evansville. After retirement, he graciously took a position as the Veterans Officer of Pike County. Jim attended Littles General Baptist Church in Petersburg. He was also an avid Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed collecting memorabilia. Jim had a rare gift of perfectionism and enjoyed completing DIY projects. Jim found joy in the little things in life.
