Molly, played by Cameron Rumbach, meets Boy (Peter), played by Colin McGowan, in the port before the ships set sail. Boy is one of three orphans sold to the pirates by the schoolmaster, Grempkin.

Peter and the Starcatcher is the theatrical adaption of the children’s fantasy adventure novel by humorist Dave Barry and novelist Ridley Pearson. The Tony-winning Peter and the Starcatcher tells how a lonely, miserable orphan becomes the boy who would not grow up, Peter Pan.

As a young orphan and his mates are shipped off from Victorian England to a distant island ruled by the evil King Zarboff, they meet Molly, a precocious young girl and Starcatcher in training. Molly and her father are also escorting a trunk full of precious cargo. When the ship is taken over by pirates – led by the fearsome Black Stache, a villain determined to claim the trunk and its treasure for his own – the journey quickly becomes a thrilling adventure.

Here are a few photos from Monday afternoon’s dress rehearsal.
