Jerry R. Wright, 48

Jerry R. Wright, age 48, of Huntingburg, formerly of Taswell, Indiana, passed away at 9:25 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2014, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

He was born April 23, 1965 in Huntingburg, Indiana to Raymond and Cecil Marie (Warthan) Wright.

Jerry was an avid I.U. and Colts fan; enjoyed watching movies — especially the Three Stooges and wrestling; and loved to do word-search puzzles. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and one brother, Alvin “Woody” Wright.

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Hazel (Michael) Gentry of Huntingburg; and by a niece and nephew.

Memorial services for Jerry R. Wright will be held at 2:00 p.m., EST, on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with interment to follow at Taswell Cemetery in Taswell, Ind. Pastor Bret Eckert will officiate at the services.
