Jerry R. Isenbarger, 77

Jerry R. Isenbarger, age 77, of Jasper, formerly of Elkhart IN, passed away at 6:30 p.m. Thursday (April 11, 2013) at home.
Jerry was born on March 25, 1936 in Indianapolis, IN to Lawrence and Harriet (Griswold) Isenbarger. He married Rosalie Raney on November 22, 1975 in Elkhart, Indiana.
Jerry worked as a purchasing agent in the boating manufacturing industry for over 25 years. First for Starcraft and later for Smokercraft, from which he retired.
He was a Navy Veteran who served during the Korean War.
He was a graduate of Mishawaka High School and Ball State University.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mishawaka, IN, the Jasper American Legion Post #147, and the Osceola Lions Club.
He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. He enjoyed reading, golfing, fishing, movies, traveling, and spending time with his beloved wife Rosalie and his dog Cubby.

Preceding him in death is one brother Larry Isenbarger.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday (April 15, 2013) at the First United Methodist Church in Mishawaka, IN.
Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00pm before services at the First United Methodist Church in Mishawaka, IN. There will be no visitation at Becher-Kluesner Funeral Home in Jasper.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dubois County Humane Society, the Osceola Lions Club, or a favorite charity.
