Jerry D. Fesler, 78, Jasper

Jerry D. Fesler, 78, Jasper, Indiana passed away at 11:37 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2017, in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper. Surrounded by family and friends.

He was born at Oolotic, Indiana on March 1, 1938, to Estel and Julia (Hatfield) Fesler. He married Donetta “Jean” Bollinger on September 4, 1981.

Jerry was a graduate of Loogootee High School and served in the Indiana National Guard. He retired as a supervisor from Westinghouse at Bloomington, Indiana.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Fesler; son, Michael Fesler and wife Diana of Bloomington; one daughter, Andrea Horne and husband Cullen of Superior, Wisc.; stepson, Roy McRoberts and wife Dee of Solsberry, Ind.; stepdaughters, Mary Ann McRoberts of Jasper, Marsha Smith and husband Mark of Centerville, Texas and Beverly Dean and husband Mark, of Louisville, Ky.; Sister, Betty Chambers of Ocala, Fla.; 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death is one daughter, Terri Lynn.
