Jerome William Wagner, 51, Arcadia, Fla.

Jerome William Wagner, 51, passed away at 5:55 a.m. of natural causes on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at the Civil Commitment Center in Arcadia, Florida.

He was born on December 28, 1970, to Marianna (Dotterweich) Wagner and Dennis A. Wagner, Sr. in Huntingburg, Indiana.

Jerome did not finish high school, so he worked as a handyman doing odd jobs here and there until he moved to Arcadia, Florida, in 1995. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading his bible, telling stories and talking to family and friends on the telephone.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Dennis A. Wagner, Jr.; and a brother-in-law, Scott Davis.

He is survived by two sisters, Jane (Charles) Smith of Jasper and Jennifer Davis of Dubois; sister-in-law, Carla Wagner of Dubois; along with two nephews, two nieces, two great-nephews, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ponger-Kays-Grady Funeral Home in Arcadia is in charge of all arrangements. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
