Jerome A. “Romie” Hasenour, age 84, of Huntingburg, Indiana, passed away at 12:00 a.m. Saturday, (July 27, 2013) in the Scenic Hills Health Care Center in Ferdinand, Indiana.
He was born September 12, 1928 in St. Anthony, Indiana to Clements and Catherine (Haas) Hasenour. He married Anna Mae Mehringer September 11, 1951 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.
He is a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church- St. Anthony Community Center and the YMI in Huntingburg, Indiana.
Jerome was a retired farmer and seed salesman.
He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and shooting matches and his family.

Preceding him in death is an infant daughter Connie Hasenour and two sisters, Marjorie Rasche and Dolores Wehr, and also one brother, Allen Hasenour.
Funeral service for Jerome Hasenour will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday (August 1, 2013) in St. Anthony Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Anthony Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at church.
