Jeremy A. Bender 40

Jeremy A. Bender 40, of Gentryville, died Sunday, July 19, 2015, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

He was born June 26, 1975, to Allen and Sharon (Foerster) Bender.

Mr. Bender was a 1993 graduate of Heritage Hills High School in Lincoln City and worked at Holland Dairy.

Surviving are his wife, the former Cassie Hart; two daughters, Londyn and Braylee Bender, at home; his mother, Sharon Bender of Santa Claus; two brothers, Philip Schraner of Huntingburg and Josh Bender of Tell City; and his grandmother and step-grandfather, Anna Laura and Wallace Hartley of Gentryville.

He was preceded in death by his father, paternal grandfather and maternal grandparents.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. CDT Thursday in Santa Claus United Methodist Church in Santa Claus. Rev. Charlotte Lee will officiate. Burial will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Gentryville.

Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. CDT Wednesday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to an education fund for Londyn and Braylee Bender.

Fuller Funeral Home in Dale is in charge of arrangements.
