Jennifer Poehlein, 64, Jasper

Jennifer Poehlein, 64, passed away on October 31, 2022, in Jasper.

She was born in Dayton, Ohio, on July 3, 1958, to Thomas and Mabel (Oldham) Holmes.

A homemaker, Jennifer enjoyed doing any kind of craft projects, especially crocheting, quilts, painting and coloring. She loved animals, and her family is thankful that she gave herself to God the day before she died.

She is survived by her children, Amanda Dyer (Randy James) of Cannelton, Julie Persinger (Heath) of Cannelton, Glenn Dyer (Danielle) of Huntingburg and Raymond Rowzee of Huntingburg; 11 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sister, Shirley Kimpton of Indianapolis and brother, Avery Holmes of Arkansas; siblings, Fern Poehlein, Thomas Earl Holmes, Marvin Holmes, Mary Ann Hartmier, James Holmes and Charles Holmes.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. CDT on Friday, November 4, 2022, at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery in Tell City. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time on Friday. Bro. Larry Sosh will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help purchase Jennifer’s monument.
