Jennifer Ann James, 57

Jennifer Ann James, 57, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at home, surrounded by family and loved ones. 

She was born to Linda Barrett (Hoff) and James Larry Barrett on December 7th 1966 in McComb, Mississippi. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, James Clayton Barrett; and twin sisters, Tina Lynn and Tammy Ann, who died in infancy. 

Jennifer is survived by one brother, Jim Bryan Barrett and one sister Sara Gabbard. Also surviving, is her partner, Hester K. James, sons, Joshua Baret Martin and Justin Leland Martin; stepdaughters, Jamie Harris, Christy Pund and Samantha Ward; grandchildren, Jerrik, Brielle and Terra.

She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her, including her best friend Emilie McCarthy.

She enjoyed listening to Pink, Miranda Lambert, Dolly Parton, and Prince along with a lineup of other musicians. We believe that she’s home with the Lord and her favorite grandmother, Lela.

Jennifer would have wanted everyone to celebrate with a bottle of Coors.

There will be no funeral service, but a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
