Jeffrey Scott Schoenbachler, 33

Jeffrey Scott Schoenbachler, 33, of Huntingburg, Indiana, passed away Monday, June 16, 2014 in Jasper.

He was born July 1, 1980 in Jasper, Indiana, to Joseph and Carolyn (Ward) Schoenbachler.

Jeff married Sandra Fischer on June 4, 2005 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg.

He was employed at A.T. Transportation in Ferdinand as operations manager.

Jeff was a member of the Jasper High School Class of 1998, St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Men’s Bowling League in Huntingburg. He loved sports, golfing, cooking, fishing, movies, traveling, joking and laughing.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy Schoenbachler of Huntingburg; two sons and one daughter, Cameron Jacob, Nolan Ryan, and Heather Nicole, all at home in Huntingburg; his father and mother, Joseph “Swampy” and Carolyn “Sue” Schoenbachler of Jasper; two brothers and two sister-in-laws, James (spouse, Michele) Schoenbachler and Jonathon (companion, Heather Collins) Schoenbachler, both of Jasper; his grandmother, Dolores Schoenbachler of Evansville; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sheila Phillips of Huntingburg and Mike Fischer of Jasper; his grandmother/grandfather-in-laws, Zonia and Barbara Tredway of Huntingburg; Edwin and Evelyn Fischer of Jasper; and four nephews.

Funeral services for Jeffrey Scott Schoenbachler will be held at 10:00 a.m., EST, on Friday, June 20, 2014 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-8:00 p.m., on Thursday.

A parish rosary prayer service and a time of family reminiscing and sharing will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the family for the benefit of Jeff’s three children.
