Jeffery Allen Rottet, 45

Jeffery Allen Rottet, age 45, of Huntingburg, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013, from a heart attack during a hunting trip in Seymour, Indiana.

He was born August 9, 1968 in Huntingburg, Indiana to David Mitchael and Donna Irene (Alexander) Rottet.

Jeff was a Slot Service Representative at French Lick Resort & Casino. He enjoyed playing poker and was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for hunting and walking the fields collecting Indian artifacts. Jeff was a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Rottet of Huntingburg; his mother and step father, Donna (Jim) Young of Oolitic, Ind.; his father, David Rottet of Winslow; two sons, John Rottet of Huntingburg and James Rottet of Evansville; one step daughter, Caitlind Reddy of Louisville; two sisters, Tammy Delph of Bedford and Tisha Lind of Colorado; one brother, Jeremy Forbes of Kentucky; and one grandson.

Funeral services for Jeff Rottet will be held at 7:00 p.m., on Saturday evening, December 14, 2013 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. Interment will follow at a later date.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-7:00 p.m., on Saturday, the day of the funeral.
