Jasper’s Main Street reopens, ribbon-cutting tonight

A construction meeting regarding the Downtown Revitalization Phase II Project was held on October 1st with representatives of Ragle Construction, REA, VS Engineering, and the City of Jasper.

The city reported that as of October 3, all of Main Street is now open and complete.

A few punch list items are still occurring, which will not affect traffic, and trees will be planted later this fall.

The public is invited to a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, October 3, at 5:30 p.m. to celebrate the completion of the second phase of the Downtown Revitalization.

Please note the new four-way stop signs located at the intersections of 5th & Main and 7th & Main.
