Jasper water restrictions released

The water restrictions that have been in place since June 29 have been rescinded by order of Mayor Terry Seitz effective immediately.

The recent rains have reduced the demand for the watering of lawns and gardens therefore the city is making water conservation efforts voluntary. Water usage is now allowed for watering vegetation, washing vehicles, structures and outdoor property including sidewalks and driveways.

The city is still requesting customers be frugal when using water.
