Jasper Utility Service Board public hearing on Heidorn Property

The Jasper Utility Service Board will hold a public hearing on August 20 at 6:30 p.m. at the Council Chamber.

The hearing is to discuss the disposal of the Heidorn property located at 1480 Knust Street in Jasper. This is the property near the Jasper Power Plant. It was purchased from Steve and Judy Heidorn with the idea of it possibly being used for the Jasper Clean Energy facility.

A hearing is required anytime the city wants to sell, lease or rent property to another entity.

Written suggestions or objections may be filed with the Utility Service Board at or before the meeting. They will be heard by the board at the meeting. Interested persons desiring to present their views can be heard at the meeting that day.
