Jasper to shut down water for small area of city beginning Monday

The Jasper Municipal Water Department announces they will be turning off water services, weather permitting, on Monday, June 8, between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. for 10 water customers on Leopold St, between 13th and 14th St.  This is the only area affected. This is in conjunction with the water main tie-in on Leopold St. 

After the work is complete, you may experience discolored water and/or air in your service line.  To correct this problem, run your cold water tap for 15-20 minutes, or until it clears.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
