Jasper Strassenfest Half Pot Booth sales kickoff on Wednesday, July 2
Jasper Strassenfest’s Half Pot event is back this year, and the committee and VU Jasper representatives are ramping up ticket sales with set hours beginning Wednesday, July 2, at their Big Red Booth located in front of Ruler Foods in Jasper. The event is in conjunction with the Jasper Strassenfest, which will take place from July 31 to August 3, 2025.
In 2024, Half Pot winners Bob and Molly Tuggle of Troy, Indiana, took home $77,382.50. A donation of $30,706.56 was made to the VU Jasper Scholastic Excellence Fund, providing area students with a one-year full tuition scholarship and fees.
Tickets can be purchased with cash or credit card during booth hours at the Jasper Ruler Foods location: Wednesday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., through Sunday, July 30th.
The booth will be closed for the 4th of July holiday.
The committee and VUJ representatives offer quick and easy drive-up sales utilizing hand-held mobile devices that print a receipt showing your purchased raffle numbers. Most transactions are completed in under a minute. Tickets will also be on sale at the Jasper Chamber of Commerce and VUJ Bookstore during business hours. During the Jasper Strassenfest, on-site sales will be available at the festival, along with extended hours at the Big Red Booth at Ruler Foods: Thursday and Friday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Post-fest sale dates and times will be announced after Strassenfest, with the drawing taking place on Friday, August 15th, at the Jasper Chamber of Commerce.
You must be at least 18 years of age to participate in the half-pot raffle. The current pot total, license number, and rules and regulations can be found online at jasperstrassenfest.org/halfpot or on-site at the Big Red Booth at Ruler Foods in Jasper.
