Jasper Strassenfest 2026 Half Pot sales kickoff with booth opening Thursday, July 2 and NEW online sales option for Indiana residents

Jasper Strassenfest’s Half Pot event is back this year with a new way to purchase tickets in addition to traditional booth sales. Strassenfest committee and VU Jasper representatives will have set hours beginning Thursday, July 2 at their Big Red Booth located in front of Ruler Foods in Jasper. Tickets are also now available for Indiana residents to purchase online by visiting jasperstrassenfest.com/halfpot and clicking on the Purchase Tickets button.

The half pot event is in conjunction with the Jasper Strassenfest, which will take place July 30 to August 2, 2026. In 2025, the Half Pot winners took home $77,900, and a donation of $45,548.62 was made to the VU Jasper Scholastic Excellence Fund, providing area students with a one-year full-tuition scholarship and fees.

Tickets can be purchased with cash or credit card during booth hours at the Jasper Ruler Foods location: Thursday and Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., through Sunday, July 26.

Extended hours will be offered during and after the Strassenfest. The booth will be closed for the 4th of July holiday. Ticket prices are as follows: 1 for $5, 3 for $10, 20 for $20, 50 for $40, or 150 for $100. The committee and VUJ representatives offer quick, easy drive-up sales using handheld mobile devices that print a receipt showing your purchased raffle numbers. Tickets will also be on sale at the Jasper Chamber of Commerce and VUJ Bookstore during business hours.

Post-fest sale dates and times will be announced after the Strassenfest, with the drawing taking place Friday, August 14 at 11 a.m. at the Jasper Chamber of Commerce.
