Jasper resident facing two counts of child molestation
Jasper Police Department arrested a Jasper man, charging him with two preliminary counts of Level 1 felony child molestation.
According to police, on November 4, 2024, they received a report regarding the allegations of two child molestations that had occurred in different locations in Dubois County.
Jasper Police Detectives began an investigation and a forensic interview with the juvenile victim was completed.
Based on the information obtained in the forensic interview, Officers and Detectives located Kyle Truelove, 38, of Jasper, at his residence and transported him to the police department for an interview. After the interview was conducted, Truelove was arrested and charged with two counts of child molestation.
Truelove was transported to the Dubois County Security Center, where he was booked and housed.
The Dubois County Department of Child Services assisted the Jasper Police Department.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
