Jasper Reds open 2025 season Sunday, June 8, with a doubleheader

The Jasper Reds open their 2025 season with a doubleheader at the JHS Jr. Varsity field, facing Elizabethtown. The games start at 2 p.m. on Sunday.

The Reds are believed to be the oldest amateur team in the country, as this year marks the 132nd anniversary of Jasper Reds Baseball!

Third-year manager Jason Stamm will send veteran righthander to the mound in game one.

Other returning players include former Wildcats Ben Henke, Carter Stamm, Cole Trevino and Will Wallace. Recent JHS grad, Braxton Brosmer, will join the Reds after the Cats complete tourney play. The Reds hope to add several other current Wildcats to their roster as well.

Also joining the team this year are former Southridge Raiders Evan McClain and Trey Van Meter. Business Manager Bob Alles starts his 53rd season with the team.
