Jasper RC Flyers open house a success

The Jasper RC Flyers soared to new heights during the 2025 Open House, held on Saturday, June 21st, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the group’s flying field, located at 1103 S 350 W, Jasper, Indiana.
The event brought together aviation enthusiasts from Jasper and the surrounding area for a morning filled with excitement, learning, and hands-on fun.
Throughout the event, three of experienced pilots were kept busy with a steady stream of first-time flyers eager to try their hand at radio-controlled flight. Smiles and laughter filled the air as newcomers experienced the thrill of piloting an RC aircraft under the guidance of our skilled members.
“We were delighted to meet many new faces, from young children to adults, all sharing a curiosity and enthusiasm for model aviation,” said Jeremy Church, president of the RC Flyers. “The spirit of community was truly on display as families and friends gathered to watch, learn, and participate.”
As part of the day’s activities, attendees were given free Chuck Gliders, a simple way to enjoy flight and take a piece of the fun home with them.
The Jasper RC Flyers would like to thank everyone who attended and helped make the open house a resounding success.
“We look forward to welcoming even more new members and friends at future events at our field at 1103 S 350 W, Jasper,” said Church.
