Jasper public meeting about sale of park properties

The City of Jasper is holding a public meeting to receive input regarding the sale of parcels of surplus property.

Those properties include the Lechner property near Precious Blood, Bockelman property north of the Municipal Golf Course, the 30th Street Park and an additional 10 acres the city owns near St. Charles Street and Truman Road.

The meeting will occur during the regularly scheduled Board of Public Works and Safety at 8 a.m. on July 23 at the City Hall Council Chambers, 610 Main Street.

Interested parties may appear and be heard at the meeting. Written comments may be filed with the office of the Clerk-Treasurer in City Hall prior to the public hearing.
