Jasper police seeking battery suspect

The Jasper Police Department is asking for help identifying a suspect involved in a battery that took place between 4:00 and 4:30 p.m. Monday, October 3, 2016, in the IGA Parking lot at 750 W. Second Street.

The suspect is a male, possibly in his 30s, who was wearing a camouflage hat, flannel shirt and had a bushy beard at the time of the incident.

The victim identified the vehicle the suspect was driving as a red (not the newest body style, but not old) Dodge 2-door pickup with several bumper stickers and at least one sticker in the back glass area. The side of his truck had a political name spray-painted in white. The passenger window had a clip-on United States Flag hanging outside of the truck. The rear bumper was bent indicating possible damage.
