Jasper police looking for shoplifting suspect

Jasper — Jasper police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man suspected of shoplifting from Walmart.

According the police, on Dec. 2 at about 3:45 p.m. the suspect attempted to use a shopping cart to take several items out of the store without paying. When he was confronted by store employees the suspect fled.

The suspect was in his 20’s and was driving a blue 1990’s model Ford Mustang that was in good condition.
