Jasper Police Department seeking hit-and-run driver

The driver of a white Jeep Grand Cherokee struck a street sign and stop sign at the intersection of Jackson Street and River Centre Landing and then left the scene.

The crash occurred Thursday at about 3:50 p.m. Witnesses say the driver was a female and there was a female passenger in the vehicle as well.

The SUV should have damage near the driver side light and the headlight cover should be missing.
