Jasper Plan Commission to discuss city’s comprehensive plan
The City of Jasper’s Draft Comprehensive Plan will be introduced to the Jasper Plan Commission at its meeting on Wednesday, August 5, at 7:00 p.m.
This meeting marks the first opportunity for the Plan Commission to formally review the draft plan and begin the public discussion process.
We encourage residents, businesses, and stakeholders to review the draft and share their feedback. Questions, comments, and suggestions may be submitted to Becki Moorman at cdpadmin@jasperindiana.gov on or before August 10, 2026.
What’s Next?
August 19 – Draft introduced to the City Council, including feedback received by the August 10 deadline.
September 2 – Jasper Plan Commission Recommendation Hearing (formal adoption process begins).
September 23 – City Council First Reading.
October 21 – City Council Second Reading & Final Adoption.
