Jasper mayor announces second set of city chats

Jasper – Jasper Mayor Terry Seitz announces the second annual series of City Chats scheduled for May and June.

Building upon last year’s events, the City Chats are opportunities for officials to converse with the general public and for citizens to learn more about city government.

The 2013 City Chats will take place at community landmarks including the Spirit of Jasper Train, the Kiefer Fire Station and the Jasper Arts Center.

Various department leaders will join Mayor Seitz for brief presentations followed by questions and answers. Come as you are, bring lunch if you desire and visit with us. The City Chat schedule and guests are:

Tuesday, May 7 on the Spirit of Jasper at noon

Tuesday, May 21 at the Herman Kiefer Fire Station on East 6th Street at noon

Tuesday, June 11 at the Jasper Arts Center – Part of the “Brown Bag Lunch” Series* at 11:45 a.m.

*Note: “Brown Bag Lunches have a $5.00 dessert/beverage fee. Citizens may attend the
mayor’s message only at 12:15PM at no charge.
