Jasper man arrested in Huntingburg molestation investigation

Huntingburg police arrested Frank C. Phillips, 45, of 610 E. 16th Street, Jasper, on multiple counts related to a child molestation investigation.

According to authorities, the Huntingburg Police Department, Det. Sgt. Christian Gogel and the Dubois County Department of Family Services launched an investigation into allegation of sexual misconduct of an 8-year-old male that occurred in the summer of 2014 after receiving a complaint in July of this year.

The complaint was that Phillips had inappropriately touched an eight-year-old male that was living in Huntingburg.

On Wednesday, Det. Sgt Gogel brought Phillips in for questioning regarding this complaint. After further investigation, Phillips was placed under arrest for two counts of child molestation (C Felony and Level 4 Felony) and two counts of dissemination of matter harmful to minors (D Felony and Level 6 Felony).

He was transported and placed into the Dubois County Security Center.
