Jasper Library to present program on Medicare Coverage

The Jasper Public Library will be hosting a presentation directed by Generations, on Medicare Coverage on Thursday, December 1, at 6 p.m. in the Jasper Library Annex.

Generations is a program of Vincennes University’s Community Service Division. With open enrollment deadlines fast approaching, this timely workshop will answer questions that you may have on what the general Medicare Coverage actually means and will offer information on what supplemental coverage you may need during retirement.

Generations’ SHIP (State Health Insurance Assistance Programs) counselors will be presenting information and taking general questions from the audience regarding coverage and how to select the best supplements for you, however individual appointments for registration will need to be set for another time.

This program will be helpful for those approaching “Medicare Age”, as well as for those family or friends assisting eligible people in making these important decisions.
