Jasper Group honors the life and legacy of Ashley Sendelweck

Jasper–Jasper Group is mourning the loss of Vice President of Marketing Ashley Sendelweck, a beloved colleague, leader, and friend whose creativity, humility, and heart helped shape both the company and the people around her.

For 17 years, Ashley helped guide Jasper Group’s evolution from a respected regional manufacturer into one of the furniture industry’s leading brands. As Vice President of Marketing, she built an exceptional team, elevated the company’s voice, and strengthened relationships across the industry. Yet her greatest impact reached far beyond marketing.

Ashley brought optimism and genuine care to every relationship. She never sought recognition, finding her greatest joy in helping others succeed. Her leadership was defined by how she encouraged and believed in people, inspiring them to do their best.

“As I move beyond the disbelief and reflect on what I treasured most about Ashley,” said Mike Wagner, Chairman and CEO of Jasper Group, “I keep coming back to how selfless she was. She cared deeply about helping the people around her succeed and rarely sought recognition for herself. She was also one of the strongest advocates of our purpose, rooted in her love for her family, this community, and the future we are building together. We will never replace Ashley or the passion she brought to all of us. Her kindness, dedication, and the difference she made in our lives will never be forgotten.”

Ashley loved Jasper Group as deeply as she loved her family, friends, and community. She believed great companies are built by great people. The team she built, culture she shaped, and lives she touched will remain part of Jasper Group for years to come.

Jasper Group will honor Ashley’s legacy by carrying her passion, generosity, and spirit forward in its culture, relationships, and care for one another. Ashley encouraged all of us to “Love What You Do,” and showed us what those words mean when lived with purpose, humility, and heart.

The thoughts and prayers of everyone at Jasper Group are with Ashley’s family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
