Jasper Group and JOFCO announce plans to merge
Two local furniture manufacturers, Jasper Group and JOFCO, jointly announced on Friday they have signed a Letter of Intent to explore the possible merger of their respective companies.
Jasper Group operates several local manufacturing facilities which produce furniture and seating for office, lounge and hospitality under the brands of Klem, JSI and Community.
JOFCO, currently celebrating its 90th year in business, produces a premium line of office and conference furniture for clients in the United States and abroad.
Both companies believe a merger combining their manufacturing facilities, product lines, distribution systems and skilled work force will further strengthen their operations, provide growth opportunities in new markets and will provide stability to their shareholders during these current economic conditions.
