Jasper-Dubois County Public Library announces 2026 Summer Reading Program

The Jasper-Dubois County Public Library (JDCPL) invites readers of all ages to take part in its 2026 Summer Reading Program, running from Tuesday, May 26, through Friday, July 17, 2026.
Participants are encouraged to keep reading all summer long for a chance to win prizes.
Readers can track their progress in one of two convenient ways: by completing a traditional paper reading log available at any library location or by logging their reading digitally through the Beanstack app. Participants will earn tickets for reading books that they can then enter into prize drawings.
In addition to the reading challenge, JDCPL will host a full lineup of fun, family-friendly events throughout the summer. Featured programs include exciting animal shows, engaging magic performances, and a variety of other entertaining presenters designed to inspire learning, creativity, and community connection.
“We’re excited to offer a program filled with memorable experiences for our community,” says Library Director Christine Golden. “The Summer Reading Program is a great way for families to stay engaged, keep kids reading, and enjoy everything the library has to offer during the summer months.”
The Jasper-Dubois County Public Library serves the community through its four branches located in Jasper, Ferdinand, Dubois, and Birdseye, ensuring access to programs and resources for residents across the county.
