Jasper-Dubois County Library shuts down programming/events, remains open to patrons

The Jasper-Dubois County Public Library (Jasper, Ferdinand, Dubois, and
Birdseye Branches) announced it would cancel all programming and events through April 5, 2020.

The action is taken in accordance with the guidance and required actions from Governor Eric Holcomb and the Dubois County Health Department.

Currently, there are no confirmed cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in
Dubois County.

The safety of patrons, staff, and community members is of the utmost priority. As a means to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and the potential effects on the community, the library will be canceling all programming and events through April 5, 2020.

Currently our plan is to continue with our normal operating hours but will continue to monitor the situation and will make changes accordingly.

The library is advising patrons to not congregate for extended periods of time. The library staff has implemented enhanced cleaning procedures to ensure to the best of their ability the safety of both staff and patrons.

The library system is fine-free, but you are welcome to renew materials online or call for assistance.
